I am currently taking applications for LCSW group and individual participants, I accept LMSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs for licensure also
Group supervision should be an enriching and supportive environment for clinical learning and growth. The quality of your supervision matters, and the relationship with your supervisor and peers can be life-long. Join a group that understands that relationship, come build professional skills while creating lasting professional relationships.
In addition to psychotherapy services, I also provide clinical supervision for social workers working toward LCSW licensure, and LPCs and LMFTs working towards licensure. Clinical supervision is a vital and valued part of my practice which allows me to integrate my love for teaching, history as a field instructor working with student interns, and my experience in clinical practice. Being a supervisor for social workers and other mental health professionals seeking advanced licensure gives me the opportunity to contribute to the high level of ethical, professional, and clinically-skilled practice of our profession. I love being a part of helping other social workers find ever-increasing satisfaction and competence in their profession. I use a strength-based and empowerment model informed by psychodynamic perspective, attachment theory, systems theory, cognitive behavioral theory, and social justice ethics and principles. I use such an eclectic model because I value each person’s unique learning style and use of self, knowing that by being fully present with each supervisee, we will co-create the best modality and lens through which to view the case or situation. The quality of the supervisor-supervisee relationship is a critical aspect of the experience, and I work to create an environment of safety, openness and empowerment in which there is trust on both sides. I strive to maintain my own ability to be influenced by and learn from each supervisory relationship. My style is process-oriented, thought-provoking, and receptive. Paired with that style, I make it my priority to provide ethical, purposeful, sound, and principled practice direction. I believe people learn the best in a relaxing and supportive environment, and I bring enthusiasm, passion, empathy, practicality, and humor to all my relationships..
