I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. I wasn't born in Austin, but I've lived here for over 30 years, and I understand the community and systems quite well. As the parent of three adopted children & a social worker with decades of experience.
My practice is based on the belief that you have the capacity and the strength to solve the problems; perhaps there is an acute situation or emotional issue blocking or impeding your over-all coping ability – people have potential for growth and adaptation throughout life.
